Marietta Woman Dies in Crash With Tractor-Trailer


Lee County, AL (July 16, 2020) — A woman from Marietta died Monday morning after being involved in an accident with a tractor-trailer. The crash happened around 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Lee Road 249 and Lee Road 379.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, 27-year-old Chloe Diana Couvrette was driving her 2014 Jeep Wrangler when she allegedly struck a 2016 Kenworth tractor-trailer. Couvrette died at the scene of the accident.

The ALEA is still investigating the cause of the crash. So far, no other injuries have been reported and no other information has been released.
